OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2013. This is stipulated by the draft fiscal and customs policies for 2014, developed by the Finance Ministry and pending for consideration of the Cabinet. The excises are going to be adjusted to the inflation projected for 2014.

In particular, for cars with the petrol engine capacity of up to 1,000 cu cm the excise to be raised from EUR 0.38 to EUR 0.4 for cars under 7, from EUR 0.4 to EUR 0.42 for cars at the age of 8; from EUR 0.42 to EUR 0.44 for cars at the age of 9 and from EUR 0.44 to EUR 0.46 per cu cm for car at the age of 10. For cars with the petrol engine capacity of more than 1,000 cu cm but less than 1,500 cu cm the excise to be raised from EUR 0.5 to EUR 0.52 for cars under 7, from EUR 0.53 to EUR 0.55 for cars at the age of 8; from EUR 0.55 to EUR 0.57 for cars at the age of 9 and from EUR 0.58 to EUR 0.6 per cu cm for cars at the age of 10. For the 1,500 to 2,000 cu m engine capacity, the excise will be raised from EUR 0.77 to EUR 0l8 for cars under 7; from EUR 0.81 to EUR 0.84 for cars at the age of 8; from EUR 0.85 to EUR 0.89 for cars at the age of 9 and from EUR 0.89 to EUR 0.93 for 1-year old cars.

For the 2,000 to 3,000 cu cm engine capacity, the excise is raised from EUR 1.27 to EUR 1.32 for 7-year old cars; from EUR 1.33 to EUR 1.39 for cars at the age of 8; for EUR 1.4 to EUR 1.46 for cars at the age of 9 and from EUR 1.46 to EUR 1.59 for 10-year-old cars. The excises for all cars under 10 with the petrol engine capacity over 3,000 cu cm will stay the same. For diesel engines with the capacity of up to 1,500 cu cm, the excise will be raised from EUR 0.5 to EUR 0.52 for cars under 7; from EUR 0.53 to EUR 0.55 for cars at the age of 8; from EUR 0.55 to EUR 0.57 for cars at the age of 9 and from EUR 0.58 to EUR 0.6 per cu cm for 10-year-old cars.

For diesel engines with the capacity of 1,500 cu cm to 2,000 cu cm, the excise will be raised from EUR 1.27 to EUR 1.32 for cars under 7; from EUR 1.33 to EUR 1.39 for cars at the age of 8; from EUR 1.4 to EUR 1.46 for cars at the age of 9 and from EUR 1.46 to EUR 1.52 per cu cm for 10-year-old cars. The excises for all cars under 10 with the diesel engine capacity over 2,500 cu cm will stay the same – EUR 3.5 per 1 cu cm.
