OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2013. Incheon International Airport Corporation has arranged special measures regarding 3rd Phase construction which actually taking place since the second half of this year.

These special measures, which are aimed to construct the Brand-name Airport, include security of quality, fair and open tender procedure, active involvement of local enterprise and others.

Incheon Airport Corporation diversifies the selection method of 3rd Phase Construction successful bidder according to construction specialty, scale and the level of difficulty.

To qualify in tender-participation the construction- work experience-like performance restrictionis being tightened and the PQ examination standards are also being revised by strengthening technical skills.

The factors which may appear in collusion among the tendering parties in the bottom price contract bidding system are eliminated and the supply calculation evaluation will cover all kinds of construction work where the supply adjustments were made. The examination will be made by examination committee especially organized for this purpose.

The selection process of tender-participating parties is also being improved by tightening it even more in terms of the professionalism, responsibility, openness and fairness of the evaluation.

For this purpose, the group of candidates for evaluation committee was organized. It consists of Incheon Airport Corporation employees, who possess professionalism and rich experience and who went through the strict screening process.
