OREANDA-NEWS. September 19, 2013. This was stated by the Chairman of the Parliament of Moldova Igor Corman during the meeting with the director of the Eastern Committee of German Economy Rainer Lindner. During the meeting the parties discussed the current situation faced by the Moldovan winemakers and fruit and vegetable producers and agreed to implement a number of projects to promote Moldovan products to alternative markets.

Igor Corman announced that Moldovan authorities are counting on the support and solidarity of the European partners. The speaker also noted that now Moldova negotiate with EU institutions to increase the share of Moldovan wines at the European wine market and identify projects that will facilitate access to the European market for the Moldovan producers.

According to the speaker, it is very important to diversify western markets, without loosing the access to the Eastern markets.
