OREANDA-NEWS. On the 3-d of September, "Concern Galnaftogaz" published non-financial report of the results of activities in 2012. The document contains a summary of last year's achievements of the Company in areas such as strategic social investment, standards and working conditions, environmental programs, responsible communication, anti-corruption, charity and volunteer. Its electronic version can be found in the section"Non-financial reporting" on the "OKKO" network web-site and also on the "Ñoncern Galnaftogaz" and the UN Global Compact web-sites.

"Concern Galnaftogaz" regularly publishes non-financial reports since 2008, but the report of 2012 was firstly prepared by the method and requirements of Global Reporting Initiative GRI (standard G3, the level of disclosure C - self proclaimed). There will be held numbers of activities related to the presentation, analysis and discussion of non-financial report with all stakeholders (internal events in the team, presentations to clients, investors, officials, NGOs, CSR expert community) during September and October.

"Concern Galnaftogaz" is one of the largest employers and taxpayers in Ukraine. The company has created more than 750 workplaces and paid almost USD 3.4 billion of taxes during 2012. However, it continued actively invest in the introduction of energy-saving technologies, environmental protection, the program "Green Office" and accessibility, fuel quality control and communications with customers and stakeholders.

In particular, almost 20,000 "OKKO" filling network customers were involved in the evaluation of service on "OKKO" filling stations in 2012. There were selected more than 71,000 samples of petroleum products worth over USD 23 million for fuel quality check. Last year "Concern Galnaftogaz" opened the first filling station in "OKKO" network that operates using solar energy and soil temperature evaporation energy and the first point for charging electric vehicles. The company has expanded its fleet with new more environmentally friendly to use fuel trucks and conducted a reconstruction of the petroleum depot management with the use of energy efficient technologies. All filling stations "OKKO", built in 2012, are equipped with LED lighting, making the expected saving 850 MW / h of electricity up to 2013. All newly constructed filling stations are equipped in compliance with accessibility requirements.
