OREANDA-NEWS. While making a budget plan for next year, the Government of Belarus assumes that the average annual rate of the Belarusian ruble will stand at Br9,500/USD 1 to the US dollar.

Belarus' Vice Premier Petr Prokopovich released a forecast to this effect during a live interview on Wednesday. In his words, the 2013 budget plan was made on the assumption that the average annual rate of the Belarusian ruble would stand at Br8,950/USD 1 to the US dollar. On Wednesday, the Belarusian ruble stood at Br9,050/USD 1 to the US dollar.

The vice premier reminded that the rate of the Belarusian ruble is set on a daily basis in conformity with the supply and demand for foreign currency on the forex market. The Belarusian ruble has been relatively stable since early this year, Prokopovich said.
