Rietumu Bank, the leader of the Latvian banking industry in services for international business and cross-border trade, will take part in the Transit Kazakhstan 2013 exhibition to be held in Almaty on 18-20 September. The Latvian bank’s delegation will present new opportunities, products and services in the field of financial servicing for international trade operations to the participants of the exhibition.
It is not the first time Rietumu Bank has taken part in such events. Last year the bank participated in the TransRussia exhibition where over 500 companies-participants from 30 countries were registered. This exhibition attracted the attention of several tens of thousands of visitors – professional participants of the industry.
“The participation of Rietumu Bank in such exhibitions as Transit Kazakhstan, allows us to constantly increase the circle of business partners and clients, establish new links, move forward and strengthen the bank’s positions on external markets, and to find new opportunities for the business,” says the Member of the Board, Senior Vice-president of Rietumu Bank Renat Lokomet.
In the course of participation in the exhibition, Rietumu Bank will inform potential clients about the possibilities of financing and the support of trade transactions, including different options of short-term lending against goods, export factoring, documentary Letters of Credit, documentary collection and guarantees. At present, Rietumu Bank is de facto the only big bank in the Baltic countries specialising in such services and actively offering them abroad.
As before, Rietumu Bank will take part in the Transit Kazakhstan 2013 exhibition jointly with its partner – one of the leading and dynamically developing freight forwarding companies in Latvia SRR, which provides qualitative multi-modal transport solutions for industrial enterprises in Central Asia and Europe.
Transit Kazakhstan has been held in Almaty since 1997, and during this period the exhibition has become the most important event in the transport, logistics, machine-building and related industries in Central Asia. The range of services presented at the exhibition and the professional composition of the participating companies is very broad – from freight forwarding services to software and equipment for cargo processing.
Transit Kazakhstan is in the line of international transport exhibitions held in the CIS countries, via which the transit freight flow goes in the east-west direction – Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Its organiser – the British ITE Group – is one of the world leaders in the field of international exhibitions, business forums and conferences on the developing markets.
Participants of the previous Transit Kazakhstan exhibition included over 150 companies from 13 countries – Russia, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Georgia, Israel, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Ukraine, Finland and Estonia.
