OREANDA-NEWS. Organized by the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government and supported by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the 2013 China (Chongqing) International Cloud Computing Expo is to be held in the Chongqing Nanping International Convention and Exhibition Center from October 24 to October 26. With the theme of “Cloud Computing • Future Internet”, this Expo will be characterized by internationalization, high-end orientation, informatization, intelligentization and human-orientation; the main contents of the Expo include four parts - exhibitions & presentations, matchmaking meetings, summit forums and theme activities.

From the perspective of the exhibitors, Hewlett-Packard, Asus, Microsoft, NEC, Digital China, Tencent, Beijing LeiQiang, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, Pacnet Business Solutions as well as many other multinational companies and famous domestic enterprises will participate in the Expo. Other distinguished guests, including Kaoru Yano, President of NEC, Johnny Shih, Chairman of Asus, Richard Lee, Chairman of Inventec and Herbert Leung, Chief Executive Officer of Atos Origin in Asia, said they would attend the Expo, with other guests invited with great efforts.

The exhibitors, including Hewlett-Packard, Asus, Microsoft, NEC, Digital China, Tencent, Beijing LeiQiang, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom and Pacnet Business Solutions, will bring the latest technologies and products of cloud computing to the Expo, such as the experience program of Microsoft, the program of cloud computing platform of Neusoft, the program of intelligent education plaza of Cisco, the program of Funsing Technologies (“Lingzhi” technology) and Google Project Glass.

The Expo is expected to have a total exhibition area of 20,000 square meters; there will be nine exhibition areas—cloud area, end area, communication networks area, large data area, experience area of value-added applications, comprehensive exhibition area, 3D printing technology and robots exhibition area, area of electronic information consumption and exhibition area for medium, small and micro enterprises, which include not only the presentations of the latest development in the industry but also various types of presentations on the technology application of cloud computing as well as experience of cloud application, such as e-government cloud, transport cloud, medical cloud and education cloud.
