OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2013. Norilsk Nickel has tested material goods procurement procedure based on Fabricant.ru electronic trading platform. Such format, implying the use of electronic signature, allows the Company to considerably improve efficiency and transparency of the centralized procurement process.

Test electronic trading session including placement of Norilsk Nickel’s orders  was held in August. Initial experience has confirmed economic efficiency of using electronic trading platform to procure goods, works and services for the Group’s companies.

It is planned to start full use of the resources of electronic trading platform in the beginning of 2014. Works on finalizing electronic procurement scheme   and expanding the corresponding scope of material goods shall be completed by the end of the year.

Additionally, it is necessary to train the Company’s employees and register current and potential suppliers.
