OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2013. Wu Duoyu, Vice President of China National Technical Import and Export Corporation (CNTIC), attended the hand-over ceremony for the first batch of locomotives under the export contract for electric locomotives signed between CNTIC and Uzbekistan.

Vice Prime Minister of Uzbekistan ZAKIROV Batir Irkinovich,  Chairman of Uzbek Railways Achilbay Ramatov, Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan Zhang Xiao, Chinese Commercial Counselor Wang Kaixuan, and relevant personnel from CNTIC representative office in Uzbekistan and department of complete plant of CNTIC, attended the ceremony. Afterwards, CNTIC and Uzbek Railways signed another two contracts of supply of rail vehicles for Uzbek railway electrification transformation project.
