Environmental Audit Accomplished at Nizhnekamsk Truck Tire Factory
OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2013. An environmental audit inspection has been successfully completed at the Nizhnekamsk truck tire factory, which is part of the JSC TATNEFT?s petrochemical complex.
During the audit, carried out by JSC "National Certification Methodology Center "Test- Tatarstan" (OS IMS TatSert, Kazan), the experts of the company assessed the activities of the departments of industrial safety, occupational health and the environment protection, mechanics, stock preparation shop and shops of electric transport maintenance and waste recycling.
The experts of the Certification Inspection Control Center checked the compliance of "Nizhnekamsk Truck Tire Factory" activities with the requirements of GOST R ISO 14001-2007. The inspection control covered the work organization for the environment protection, ecological aspects of the activities and environmental indicators of the adverse impact on the environment. The scope of the inspection also covered the organization control over the content of hazardous substances at the industrial and environmental sites, the condition of the facilities, cleaning equipment systems and measures to prevent the occurrence of possible emergencies.
Based on the results of the environmental auditing inspection the environmental management system was acknowledged to conform to the requirements of GOST R ISO 14001-2007.
