OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2013. The total throughput of Klaipeda Port and in Butinges terminal in August of 2013 totalled 3,1 mln. tn, i.e. less by -18,0 pct. or by -691,1 thou. tn if to compare with the corresponding period of 2012. 

The cargo handling turnover in Klaipeda Port in August of 2013 reached 2,3 mln. tn, i.e. less by  -21,3 pct.   or by  -646,3 thou. tn.  0,7 mln. tn, i.e. less by -5,6 pct. or by -44,8 thou. tn  of cargo were handled at  Butinges terminal.

- Agriculture products   (198,0 thou. tn were handled, the change was +36 pct. or +52,4 thou. tn yoy);

- ore (bulk)  ( 106,6 thou. tn were handled,  the change was  +28,8 pct.  or +23,8 thou. tn yoy);

- natural and chemical fertilizers (packed) ( 63,3 thou. tn were handled, the change was +51,6 pct. or +21,6 thou. tn yoy)

- natural and chemical fertilizers (bulk) ( 355,4 thou. tn were handled, the change was -54,7 pct. or -428,8 thou. tn yoy)
