OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2013. VTB Bank and State Hermitage Museum signed a cooperation agreement in St Petersburg on 5 September 2013.

VTB Bank is launching cooperation with the Hermitage, Russia’s largest art history museum. A protocol of intent has been signed in an official ceremony by the Hermitage General Director Mikhail Piotrovsky and VTB President and Chairman of the Management Board Andrey Kostin.

The main focus of cooperation will be VTB’s support of the three-year cultural heritage conservation programme and the State Hermitage Museum’s development in 2014-2016. VTB will provide assistance to the museum in organising exhibitions and expanding its art collections. It will also finance the museum’s programmes and projects and invite its shareholders, partners and clients to cooperate in supporting the museum.
