GAZ Group Presents New Generations of Vehicles at Comtrans' 2013

Commenting on recent developments at GAZ, Bo Andersson, the President\CEO of GAZ Group said; “Three years ago, GAZ Group set out to develop a range of products that met the requirements of the market, upgrading 75% of its range during this period. The Comtrans exhibition showcases the results of this work, carried out jointly with our loyal customers, dealers and partners. The new models of the Next light and medium vehicles, Olympic buses, upgraded Ural trucks and a new generation of diesel engines, will excite consumers with their modern technical solutions, high efficiency, reliability and new level of comfort.”
The exhibition will demonstrate a new range of NEXT light and medium commercial vehicles, including a crew cab, which provides maximum comfort at minimum cost, the NEXT minibus with its high and spacious interior and the prototype of the new generation medium truck, as well as various special vehicles based on them (ambulances, shuttle buses, school vans, insulated vans, dumper trucks, Euro platform vehicles and others).
The range of buses will include the vehicles that are to be used on the Sochi routes during the Winter Olympic Games 2014. The upgraded GOLAZ line, including Cruise and Voyage L intercity buses with increased maneuverability, and new versions of the LIAZ bus, which has the best passenger capacity in its class. The exhibition also includes the new KAVZ CNG bus and the Vector bus with upgraded units and components.
The GAZ Group Ural Plant is going to present the upgraded model of the AWD vehicle, with increased load carrying capacity and with the JAMZ-536 next-generation engine, as well as a version of the vehicle with a crane manipulator unit.
GAZ Group will also present the three families of Yaroslavl Motor Plant diesel engines that meet Euro-4 environmental standards. These engines are installed in vehicles produced by GAZ, URAL, MAZ, KRAZ, MZKT and others. The exhibition includes the YAMZ-5344 (136 hp) and YAMZ-5362 (245 hp) medium four and six cylinder inline diesel engines, the heavy in-line diesel engine YAMZ-651 (412 hp), and the YaMZ-6585 V-type engine (420 hp). All the engines are mass-produced at Yaroslavl Motor Plant.
