OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2013. Ukraine has increased its agricultural production and export of finished food products by 35% from the beginning of the year. Deliveries abroad of poultry, eggs and flour increased significantly.

However, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food has identified 30 priority countries so as to exports continue to grew in larger scale. Ukraine will promote its agricultural products to their markets first of all. This was started by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhnyuk.

"We have become a powerful player at the global food market. Our goal is to be present at most on markets of as many countries as possible. We analyzed and determined for themselves 30 countries, markets of which are of highest priority for us, to do this. And together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs we are working out all the possible ways to expand our presence on them," the Minister said.

Mykola Prysyazhnyuk also added that from the beginning of the year Ukraine has exported agricultural and food products worth 8.7 billion dollars.

The Minister said that in addition to the traditional main importers of Ukrainian agricultural products - the Russian Federation, India, Egypt, Turkey, Spain, Italy - Ukrainian exporters entered the markets of Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, South Africa and other countries.
