OREANDA-NEWS. JSC Transmashholding, the largest in Russia manufacturer of Rolling Stock, diesel engines and rail castings will be the biggest exhibitor at the IV International Rail Salon of Engineering and Technologies EXPO-1520 taking place in Shcherbinka on September 11 to 14, 2013.

Transmashholding will present a total of 16 exhibits, from which many will be demonstrated for the first time ever. It will be the most omnibus exhibition the company ever presented at this Fair.

New products of the company that will be unveiled to the guests of the Fair are in line with world class economic and environmental requirements. They integrate innovative technological solutions of global transport engineering.

State-of-the-art ac locomotive 2ES5 will be in the focus of the display. The locomotive is the first locomotive among its local peers with asynchronous traction drive. It was designed for heavy hauls and rugged profile of a line.

Mainline freight ac locomotive KZ8A will be also presented to exhibition visitors. The locomotive is manufactured at JV facilities of Kazakhstan Railways, Transmashholding and Alstom in Astana.

Lugansk Diesel Locomotive Building Factory, the biggest entity of the Holding for manufacturing diesel locomotives, will present two new modifications of its locomotive 2TE116U: a diesel locomotive 2TE116UD integrating GE diesel engine, and three section machine 3TE116U with engines of Kolomna Works - the most powerful diesel locomotive produces today in CIS countries.

Bryansk Engineering Plant will exhibit six new diesel locomotives. Among them a new modification of mainline freight diesel locomotive Vityaz - 2TE25AM with diesel engine of MTU. Moreover, five shunting diesel locomotives will be demonstrated within the Fair, three of them are absolutely new products on domestic market:

• locomotive TEM19 with hot gas reciprocating engine (liquefied natural gas as fuel),

• dual engine locomotive TEM33 (double engine solution enable good flexibility of locomotive power management),

• hybrid locomotive TEM35 (diesel engine is complemented with electrochemical capacitors enabling power storing and further utilization, improving engine life).

A new modification of diesel locomotive TEM18DM will be also demonstrated at the Fair. This modification TEM18W integrates a modern fuel-efficient diesel engine of Finnish company Wartsila. The visitors will also see shunting modular bobo locomotive TEM LTH created by Transmashholding people together with the team of CZ LOKO.

Metrowagonmash design team will present train DP-M developed jointly with Swiss company Stadler. The DMU is absolutely new class of rolling stock for domestic vehicle industry. The power equipment is mounted in a separate booster section between cars with a pass-through vs traditional underframe mounting.
