ENFI Completes World Largest Photovoltaic Power Generation Project
OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2013. China ENFI Engineering Corp. (ENFI) announced on August 23, 2013 that, the 200 MW photovoltaic power-generation facility designed by ENFI for Dongdatan of Jinchuan District was proved to running smoothly in the past several days.
As the world’s largest single-unit polycrystal silicon solar power-generating project, it passed through the acceptance inspection by Gansu Power Company and was successfully combined to the grid on August 18, and the first inverter of this station was connected with the grid for power supply on August 19, 2013.
This facility is located beside Jinwu Highway in Jinchuan District, Jinchang City of Gansu Province, covering a land area of 8,500 mu (note: 1 mu is equal to 666.67 square meters). It is designed with an installed gross capacity of 200 MW, and an operational period of 25 years, with an average annual power output of 306 million KWh. As the designer, ENFI undertook the preparation of the feasibility study report and design of the construction drawing documents, in addition, ENFI also carried out a lot of preparation work in coordination with the employer, for instance, the selection of project site, connection to the grid, environmental protection assessment, water and soil conservation, and project approval procedures. In the interest to accelerate the project execution, the design team of ENFI conquered various difficulties such as the short design period and insufficiency of input conditions and equipment information.
Through frequent communication with the Employer, the design team worked overtime, completed the design work on time, and was thus placed with a high premium by all the relevant parties.
The successful connection with the grid symbolizes that, ENFI is endowed with outstanding technical strength and expertise in the design of large-scale photovoltaic power, which has enabled itself to hold a key position in the photovoltaic power generation and new energy industry.
