OREANDA-NEWS. The SKOLKOVO Entrepreneurial community has concluded a partnership agreement with the international competition Tech Trailblazers Awards. It will enable the best Russian startups to get visibility on a global stage, demonstrate the strength of Russian technological innovation and pretend to win The European Cup, one of the regional nominations.

The Tech Trailblazers Awards is a status British competition, designed explicitly for startups that are five years old or less and at C-series funding or below. The nominations are divided by industries and regions. The awards have low barriers to entry, and a win will help entrepreneurs to assert themselves as promising talents in the international innovation society and allow growing their businesses with access to exclusive coaching, mentoring and development and prizes.

“The agreement with the Tech Trailblazers Awards is a crucial element of the international partnership programme of the SKOLKOVO Entrepreneurial community”, commented Vitaly Polekhin, Head of the SKOLKOVO Investor Club. “Now promising Russian startups have one more access to the Western investments”.

In order to submit entries for the Tech Trailblazers Awards 2014, entrepreneurs from Russia have to apply before September 26, 2013, via the Emerging Markets category for USD 50. In addition, they will be able to compete for the European Trailblazer Cup Award for free.
