OREANDA-NEWS. September 09, 2013. According to Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vasile Bumacov, the harvest of table grapes is also expected to be rich, amounting to 100,000 tons.

About 75% of the harvest of table grapes is going to be exported to CIS states, the rest being sold within Moldova.

This year, thanks to favourable weather conditions, quality of the vintage is much better than last one, the Agriculture Minister said. Largest consumers of Moldovan grapes are Russia and Belarus.
