OREANDA-NEWS. KfW was the safest bank in the world in 2013 as well. For already the fifth time in a row the US economic magazine “GlobalFinance” has crowned KfW as the World’s Safest Bank.

KfW placed first in a field of the 500 largest banks worldwide. The magazine’s ranking is based on the evaluation of long-term credit ratings from Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s and Fitch as well as the total assets of the banks. The awards will be presented during the Annual Meetings of the IMF and World Bank in Washington D.C. in October.
