OREANDA-NEWS. September 06, 2013. In January-July 2013 plywood production in Russia increased by 4% year-on-year. In July it was produced 274 thousand m3 of plywood, as Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said in the statement. 

For 7 months of 2013, veneer production, plywood production and wood-based panels production in Russia increased slightly by 0.5% compared to the same period in 2012.

The largest decline was observed in the segments of veneer production - by 12.8%, fiberboard production - by 9% and particle board production- by 3.3%. The highest growth was observed in the production of wood veneered panels - by 9.1%.
