Pulp and Paper Production in Russia Fell by 7,2%
OREANDA-NEWS. September 06, 2013. In January-July 2013 in Russia the volume of pulp and paper production decreased by 7.2% to 65.9 billion rubles (\\$1965,9 thousand) year-on-year, as Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said in the statement.
In July 2013, the volume of pulp and paper production was higher by 7.1% than June's figures.
In January-July 2013, pulp production decreased by 7%, paper production - by 5.1%, newsprint production - by 22.8% compared to the same period in 2012. Paperboard production for the period increased slightly, by 1.7% year-on-year.
