The report was prepared following an international recognized standard which is the Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) international Guidelines, and based on the GRI 3.1 standards. And KPI is pleased to announce that KPI’s “Q8 Corporate Sustainability Report (CSR)” has now been certified as per “GRI Application Level Check”, which is an international recognition.

The ‘Q8 Corporate Sustainability report’ has been published on the GRI official page, and registered on their Featured reports library www.globalreporting.org. It is also published on KPI’s website www.Q8.com under the corporate sustainability section.

It is worth mentioning that this report was fully prepared in-house without the help of any external advisors or consultants, which reinforces the management commitment into supporting KPI’s internal team members and resources.

Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Petroleum International, Mr. Bakheet Al-Rashidi announced, "that this report is the first, and will not be the last in the way of global sustainability of the company. Our efforts to issue this report is to document our sustainability development not only to our employees, but to our shareholders, partners, investors, banks, governments, and many more stakeholders who deals with KPI and its affiliates. The report will also reflect our ambition to always be on the way of progress and prosperity in all concerned areas.

Mr. Adnan Al-Qallaf Manager Stakeholder Management department which is the Department in charge of issuing this report announced, "The Sustainability Team worked hard in Kuwait and through its European affiliates, through good organized teamwork to accomplish this GRI Certified report.
