OREANDA-NEWS. September 05, 2013. In August 2013 by the results of the monthly transparency rating of the Russian companies of the Fuel & Energy Complex JSC TATNEFT joined the TOP-10 companies with the highest level of transparency and was among three leaders.

The Joint Stock Company’s high appreciation of the transparency level is a result of extensive work of the whole Company’s staff: production men, environmentalists, scientists, as well as experts in the field of the information and communication policy.

The Company organized a visit to its facilities by the representatives of the Fuel and Energy Ministry of the Russian Federation. In the course of the visit the delegation, which included Kirill Molodtsov, Deputy Minister, Mikhail Gryaznov, Director of Oil and Gas Processing Department of the Energy Ministry of Russia, together with the senior managers of JSC TATNEFT visited the facilities of Nizhnekamsk CHP and "Almetyevneft", which is the Company’s oil and gas production division.

In order to determine the rating of transparency of the Russian companies of the Fuel & Energy Complex the Agency for Political and Economic Communications performs a monthly survey with participation of 25 renowned experts: economists, political scientists, analysts and journalists. Evaluation is carried out for 75 largest companies from nuclear power, gas, oil and coal mining industries, as well as the ones engaged in transportation of crude oil and petroleum products and electricity.

Each expert assesses the level of transparency of companies with subsequent determination of the arithmetic means of the expert assessments (grade point average).
