OREANDA-NEWS. September 05, 2013. As InfoMarket was informed in the National Bureau of Statistics, in accordance with methodology of the International Labor Bureau, the number of unemployed made 60.8 thousand people, or 3.2 thousand more than at the same period of the last year.

Unemployment has mainly affected men (60.9 % of total unemployed) and urban residents (61.1% of total unemployed). The unemployment rate for men made 5.6 %, among women - 3.8%.

The unemployment rate in urban area was 6.4 % and in the rural areas - 3.3%, respectively. The unemployment rate among the young aged 15-24 years old reached 13.3%, in the age group 15-29 years - 8%.
