OREANDA-NEWS. September 04, 2013. Te No.233 refined oil product tank at semi-finished products tank zone of the warehousing and transportation department of Jinling Company experienced an “accidental fire”. Upon receiving the fire alarm, the contingency plan was immediately implemented.

Firehouse branch dispatched a dozen of fire trucks to the tank zone right away, while employees of the warehousing and transportation department used the fire sprinkler to cool down the tank. In the meantime, leaders of related departments and some rescue teams also went to the tank zone and started putting off the fire under the instruction of a field command team.

Ten minutes later, the “accidental fire” of No.233 tank was put off. The fire drill was an assessment of Jinling Company’s contingency plan designed by SINOPEC Group QHSE team. When it’s finished, QHSE team member pointed out the deficiencies on the spot.
