OREANDA-NEWS. September 04, 2013. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov announces that Ukrainians should not worry about growth of prices for medicines. He stated at his Facebook page.

According to him, issues of prices for drugs and medical means are under constant supervision of the Government of Ukraine.

The Premier reminded that already over a year there had been realized an experiment with reference prices for medicines for hypertension treatment. And presently the Ministry of Healthcare is working on enlargement of a list of drugs that are to undergo the same approach.

“That’s why there won’t be any abrupt price runup for medicines. We have sufficient stores for the autumn-winter period, supplies are fulfilled according to agreements. I consider that there won’t be any anomalies this season,” Mykola Azarov announced.
