OREANDA-NEWS. Ministry of Defense affiliated public centre LFK “CSK” held the first exhibition dedicated to the “Russian Federation Ministry of Defense Innovations Day”.

Wherein four exhibits were presented by FSUE “Gas-Turbine RPC “Salut”: bypass turbofan engine AI-222-25, bypass two-shaft engine AL-31F (series 42), small gas-turbine engine MD-120 and propeller gas-turbine engine gas generator - TV-500C.

The event’s chief goal was to demonstrate to the top management of the Ministry of Defense the perspectives and the latest developments of the Russian military-industrial complex. Sergei Shoigu, Russian Federation Minister of Defense, General of the Russian Army, thinks that the event could help seek out significant amount of new talent to the potential benefit of the homeland defense industry.

Furthermore in the words of Sergei Shoigu himself: “The event will be held annually. Bearing in mind the considerable interest present, perhaps even twice a year”; “We’ve long wanted to organize a forum for everyone unable or not fortunate enough to push through our great bureaucracy machine to the events like “Le Bourget”, “MAKS”.

The first “Innovations Day” exhibition saw participation of the federal executive government branches; government corporations; Russian military-industrial complex enterprises - weapon and military equipment manufacturers, producers of the materiel and technical support for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation; leading R&D facilities and military higher education establishments; developers and manufacturers of the dual and special purpose weapons and military equipment.

The outcome of the “Russian Federation Ministry of Defense Innovations Day” exhibition saw FSUE “Gas-Turbine RPC “Salut” being awarded with the honorary participant’s Diploma.
