OREANDA-NEWS.  September 03, 2013. The signing of the Association Agreement/DCFTA between the EU and Ukraine will increase the amount of investment of U.S. companies into Ukraine’s economy.

This is what Geoffrey R. Pyatt, United States Ambassador to Ukraine said at the meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov:

"The signing of the Association Agreement is an extremely important factor that will have an impact on U.S. companies, and businesses will invest in Ukraine. It will be a good signal for business."

Whereby he added many U.S. companies are interested to invest and do business in Ukraine.

However Mr. Pyatt said the United States hopes that the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU to be signed at the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius in November.

In turn, Mykola Azarov informed Ukraine was consistently preparing for the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius.

"Ukraine is preparing for the summit in Vilnius. It is a historical event that sums up the whole stage of our development. Both the President and the Government are consistently implementing policy of Ukraine’s European integration," Mykola Azarov said.
