BLIZKO Payment System to Open 671 Service Points
OREANDA-NEWS. September 03, 2013. Sviaz-Bank’s BLIZKO Payment System has begun cooperating with the Mayzus Financial Services Ltd. to gain access to markets in the United Kingdom, Vietnam, and Mongolia, and to increase the number of its service points in the Czech Republic.
Cooperation will enable the BLIZKO System to open 671 new service points in foreign countries.
“According to statistics released by the Bank of Russia, the Czech Republic, Vietnam, and the United Kingdom were among the Top 20 foreign countries in 2012 in the number of incoming and outgoing cross-border money transfers to and from Russia through various money transfer systems and the Post of Russia. We are certain that our customers will want new destinations to be available, and that BLIZKO’s presence in foreign countries will give new opportunities to our customers living or vacationing abroad,” said Andrei Laikov, CEO of the BLIZKO Payment System.
Money transfers to the new destinations are made in U.S. dollars and euros for a charge ranging from 0.2% to 2% of the amount transferred.
The BLIZKO system also operates in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
