LSC Announced New Head ofSupervisory Council
OREANDA-NEWS. The duties of chairman of the Supervisory Council of Latvian Shipping Company (hereafter - LSC) as from the 1st September is taken over by Vladimir Egger. The former chairman of the Supervisory Council Simon Boddy continues to serve as the member of the LSC Supervisory Council and in the nearest future will take up a position as the Head of Vitol's office in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
LSC Supervisory Council consists of 12 members and was elected on 7 December 2011 for five years term.

The total carrying capacity of the LK fleet is 957 974 DWT and the average age of the fleet is 6.3 years. All ships have received ISM (International Safety Management) certificates.
