Krasny Kotelshchik Shipped Equipment for Belovskaya GRES
OREANDA-NEWS. The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik” (the main manufacturing facilities of PJSC EMAlliance, a member of the power plant concern OJSC Power Machines) has shipped High Pressure Heaters for Power Unit No.6 of Belovskaya GRES.
In accordance with the Contract concluded in June 2012 EMAlliance has undertaken to design, manufacture and supply a group of Heaters as seismic resistant (ПВ-775-265-13, ПВ-775-265-31-1, ПВ-775-265-45) complete with the quick-operating safety device. The equipment for the Customer was designed by the specialists of the Taganrog Engineering Division of PJSC EMAlliance, and was manufactured at the main manufacturing facility of the Company - The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works Krasny Kotelshchik.
The main peculiarity of the High Pressure Heater Group supplied for Belovskaya GRES is seismic resistance designed for a magnitude 8 earthquake versus HP Heaters manufactured by the Company earlier for a magnitude 6 eathquakes.
Let us remember that High Pressure Heaters are installed in the Regeneration System of the Thermal Power Station and are designed for the heating of feed water with a steam from a turbine extraction before the water supply to the Boiler to rise the efficiency of the turbine plant and the whole Unit. The similar HP Heaters ПВД-650 manufactured by PJSC TKZ Krasny Kotelshchik in the 4th quarter of 2012 have been already supplied to Power Unit No.7 of Belovskaya GRES.
Besides that, OJSC Power Machines from 2011 to 2013 have manufactured and supplied two 225 МW steam turbines complete with turbine generators for modernization of two Power Units (Unit No.4 and Unit No.6) of Belovskaya GRES. The related Contract was signed in 2010. Also in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract Power Machines are to perform the erection and commissioning supervision services of the equipment. As the result of modernization at Power Units of the Station, the turbines with the gross installed capacity of 400 MW, that have completed its service life, will be substituted. This will improve the reliability of the Station and increase the output of the electrical energy generation essential for the further development of the region.
