OREANDA-NEWS. Armada OAO (MICEX-RTS: ARMD) announces the successful completion of the project on development of the concept of the information and settlement center (ISC). The project has been implemented in the interests of the State Company Russian Highways.

ISC shall be created for processing of payments collected for passage through toll sections of highways. Establishment of the center will enable the use of common electronic means of registration of passage through different areas of toll highways in Russia, as well as technical and organizational compatibility with foreign fee charging systems.

As part of the contract specialists of Armada have worked out the options of ISC organization concept, including legal, financial, technical and technological issues. In particular, the project provided for the development of fee charging schemes for the use of highways, and proposals for introduction of changes to the current legislation of the Russian Federation required for the organization of ISC.

The selected option of ISC concept will allow ensuring technological compatibility of information systems of the participants of the process of charging fees for the use of toll highways and improving the quality of service provided to motorists.
