Industrial Waste Water Processing Capacity of TISCO will Be Increased
OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2013. “After the project is put into operation, the capacity of the industrial waste water recycled by TISCO will be increased by 48000 tons per day, the project has not only good economic benefits, but also good social and environmental benefits.”
We learned from the staff of Utilities and Power Plant that when the new industrial waste water processing plant with the membrane method is put into operation, the utilization ratio of water will be further improved, the amount of make-up water purchased, the consumption of make-up water and the index of the make-up water consumption per ton of steel will be decreased.
When a large number of the new and high-tech projects are put into operation during 12th Five-Year Plan Period, the water consumption of TISCO will be increased gradually and the requirements for the water quality will be stricter. In order to meet the requirements of the production and construction and improve the utilization ratio of water, TISCO is building an industrial waste water processing project with the membrane method. The new industrial waste water processing project includes pretreatment system, ultra-filtration systems and reverse osmosis systems. The project is divided into two phases. After the project is put into operation, 48000 tons of industrial waste water will be treated per day, and 1400 tons of desalted water will be produced per hour.
The new industrial waste water processing project adopts energy-efficient, advanced and reliable processing technologies, has the advantages of low energy consumption, low investment, economic space occupation, simple operation and management, and the quality of the treated water is high. Comparing with the existing membrane systems for waste water processing, the capacity of the new industrial waste water processing project is stronger and the quality of desalted water is higher, which can further improve the surface quality of the stainless steel products and meet the requirements of the production and construction of TISCO.
As the first iron and steel enterprise to adopt the membrane systems for waste water processing in China, TISCO has many years of experience in industrial waste water processing with membrane method, developed the proprietary technology for control and cleaning, mastered the core technology in regulation and control, some of the regulation and control technologies have been applied patents. In order to ensure the reliable and economic operation, the new project will adopt TISCO self-innovated control and cleaning technology.
