Kama Trading House Implemented Project to Automate Its Operations
OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2013. The "Kama" Trading House (part of the Petrochemical Complex of JSC TATNEFT) developing its own network of sales and service centers, regional logistics centers and warehouses has automated operations.
The official dealer of TATNEFT's petrochemical complex tire products has moved from the wholesale tire products distribution strategy to their massive promotion to the end user. The "Kama" Trading House sells more than 200 nomenclature items produced by JSC "Nizhnekamskshina", "Nizhnekamsk Truck Tires", "Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory" and JSC "Nizhnekamsktekhuglerod". The dealership network includes 58 companies being engaged in wholesale and retail trade in Russia and in more than 70 countries abroad. Currently the Trading House delivers the tire products to largest Russian and foreign automakers, such as "AvtoVAZ", "KAMAZ", "GAZ Group", "Volkswagen Group Rus", "NefAZ", "Izh-Auto", "MZ" Tonar", "Asia-Auto" (Kazakhstan).
Pursuing the aim of reducing the orders processing time, matching of sales plans with the plans of tire factories for products output and ensuring rapid updating of the operational data the work has been carried out to automate sales operations of the marketing divisions. They have been united in a single information space with the production enterprises of the JSC TATNEFT's Petrochemical Complex.
The project of creating a filing site of the "Kama" Trading House and the center of processing applications from the clients on the basis of software programs "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" and "1C-Bitrix: Site Management" has been implemented by the Kazan office of "1C-Rarus" company.
An automated system has been created in the frame of the project consisting of two functional units: the filing site (website) on the platform of "1C-Bitrix: Site Management" and the center of the filed bids processing on the basis of the "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" program.
Creation a single filing site has allowed reducing the influence of the dealers' geographical dispersion and their remoteness from the distributor. The customers themselves fill out an application on the site (this can be done in English as well) and then the application is automatically loaded into the automated system to "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8." Based on the data about the applications the system automatically performs distribution of available products quantities for the customers.
The specialists plan products' shipments in both real-time and in the long term planning mode based on the production load. In addition to daily requests for immediate processing and planning of production there are planned (monthly, quarterly, annual) applications created within the system.
The filing site operation in the "24/7" mode and reflection of the filed bid status on the site allows interacting with the customers without the influence of their geographic remoteness and time zone differences. Application of the automated system allowed improving the quality of the service provided to the customers in Russia, CIS countries and far abroad. The time from the application filing to the shipment of products has decreased by more than twofold.
