The shopping centre will become the home for brands of 24 Moldovan companies producing garments, footwear and accessories. Among them there are Zorile, Ionel, Ponti, Ravetti and others. The owner of the shopping centre and the partner of the project is company Linella. Linella and USAID CEED II are going to open two stores more soon. The first Dininima: Common Home for Brands of Moldova sale platform was opened in Zorlie Centre in December, 2012, becoming an umbrella for 17 domestic companies.

The Dininima: branduride Moldova campaign was launched in 2012 to promote domestic products to the market of Moldova. In general, USAID has allotted USD9.15 million to the project. The main goals of CEED II are to ensure the 50% growth in sales of beneficiary companies, the 75% growth in investments made in them, enhancement of their competitiveness, efficiency and professional skills of their personnel.

As USAID Moldova Director Kent Larson says, commodities made in Moldova are asked for abroad, they are competitive and of high quality, but the wardrobe of Moldovans includes only 15% of domestic garments, footwear and accessories.

The brand-promotion campaign and CEED II are aimed at developing production in Moldova to create jobs and bolster the national economy, the CEED II Director said.
