OREANDA-NEWS. A busy schedule of the 18th International exhibition for Machinery, Equipment and Ingredients for the Food Processing Industry - Agroprodmash'2013, to be held from October 7 to October 11 at the Expocentre Fairgrounds, will be supplemented with new events.

The industry forum on The Confectionery & Baking Market in changing conditions, conducted by the specialized monthly magazine Confectionery and Baking Industry (Otrasleviye Vedomosty Publishing House), and also the conference on Up-to-date Refrigerating Technologies and Equipment for Processing and Storage of the Raw Materials and Food, organized by Russian Union of Refrigerating Industry Operators (ROSSOYUZKHOLODOPROM), will be held as a part of the Exhibition for the first time.

With the frameworks of Agroprodmash'2013 are traditionally held the following events:

• The International conference on the Development of the Russian Food and Food Processing Industry as Part of the State Programme of Agriculture Development and Regulation of the Market of Agriculture Products, Raw Materials and Food for 2013-2020, organized by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Agroexposervice firm,

• The 3rd International Meat Congress, organized by the Gorbatov Meat Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences,

• The 8th International Technological Forum on Innovative Technologies and Equipment in the Dairy Industry, organized by the Imperia Congress and Exhibition Company.

The issues to be discussed are the challenges, caused by the world economic situation and emerged from Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization (the WTO).

We should note that it was the Russia's accession to the WTO that provided a stimulus to modernization of domestic manufacture and the improvement of food product quality, spurring demand for high-tech equipment. Moreover, it impacted on crowding the Exhibition Agroprodmash with new events and helped to increase activities of exhibitors.

Competition of Suppliers for Meat Processing Equipment, Competitions of Casings, Food Additives and Ingredients and Competition, The Best Brand is also scheduled as a part of Agroprodmash'2013.

Show and Competition of Professional Skills of Boners, organized by the Gorbatov All-Russian Meat Research Institute, will be one of the most spectacular events of the exhibition.

There will be also held Competition of the Best Equipment for the Agriculture Industry, organized by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Agroexposervice Firm and TechPackRussia'2013, the 2nd Russian Competition for the Best Company in the Packaging, organized by the Tara i Upakovka (Packaging) Magazine, Centre of Packaging, Labels, Design NP.
