OREANDA-NEWS. August 29, 2013. The second 2013 annual meeting of the Board of Directors of TISCO was held in Garden International Hotel, Taiyuan. The meeting was chaired by Chairman Li Xiaobo. Vice Chairman Yang Haigui, Gao Xiangming, Director Hou Jinping, Zhou Yizhou, Wang Xinping, Han Ruiping, Wang Jiguang, Zhang Zhifang, Chai Zhiyong, Han Zhentang, Gao Jianbin took part in the meeting. Chairman of the Supervisory BoardЃCZhao Zihua, Supervisor Wang Hua, Zhang Hui, Geng Lin, Zhang Hengyi attended the meeting. The Vice presidents and the heads of related departments of TISCO and STSS also attended the meeting.
 
The meeting heard and examined the report made by President of TISCO, Gao Xiangming about the completion of work in the first half of the year and the work arrangement for the second half of the year 2013, examined the budget performance in the first half of year 2013.
   
The meeting held that, facing the harder industrial situation in the first half of 2013, the corporate executives earnestly implemented the decisions of the Board of Directors, united and led the cadres and workers to brave the difficulties, maintained the steady operation of the production, management and construction. The Board of Directors fully affirmed the achievements made in the first half of the year by the corporate executives.
 
The meeting pointed out that in the face of harsh economic situation in the second half of 2013, we must correctly understand and treat the gap, further enhance the awareness of crisis, hardship, responsibility and mission, reinforce our confidence and pool the wisdom and efforts of all the employees to overcome the difficulties and comprehensively improve the competitiveness by types of product, quality, cost and performance. We should further tighten up the budget control and the performance evaluation, carefully study the new changes and requirements when the new projects and production lines are put into operation, pay high attention to and strengthen the technology marketing, speed up the development of new markets, promote the new products into high-end market, take the first-class enterprises at home and abroad as the model to benchmark and tap potentials, making good use of the existing resources, continuously improve the labor productivity and strengthen the risk management and control, pay adequate attention to safety in production to promote the transformation and leapfrog development of TISCO.
