Ukraine to Open Center for Bone Marrow Transplantion
OREANDA-NEWS. August 29, 2013. The Center for bone marrow transplantion and department of children haemato-oncology will be put into operation in the first quarter of 2014 and complete set of hospital by the end of 2014. This fundamental task is set by Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov to all responsible for this process structures.
It is just today meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has been dedicated to construction progress of a new Okhmatdyt hospital complex, installation of medical equipment, training of medical staff to work on it, financial support of this works.
"The construction of this complex should be completed in fixed term and in compliance with building technology and hospital equipment. The hospital should be fully put into operation next year. And all works must be done at the highest level of quality. The task was set by the President of Ukraine, and we have to do it, Mykola Azarov said. - This is a unique and very important project. This ultramodern hospital will provide highly specialized medical care to children from all regions of Ukraine."
Construction of modern medical diagnostic complex Okhmatdyt was began in December 2011. After upgrading Okhmatdyt will be a unique center, here will be centered health care in the worst cases of child pathology.
In order to accelerate the construction of two hospitals selected two complexes. This allows us to launch an object by autonomous parts, and in test mode to acquaint physicians with the latest technology to create the preconditions for implementation in Ukraine as soon as possible to provide adequate health care to international standards, in particular for bone marrow transplantation. The new hospital complex is divided into blocks. All units will be launched into operation in stages, at the same time they can work independently.
