OREANDA-NEWS. August 28, 2013. The results of the implementing the target-oriented program of JSC TATNEFT for resource conservation in the first half of 2013 were summarized. The planned targets of the energy efficiency program have been implemented.

The main objective of the energy and resource conservation program of the Company is the rational use of the fuel and energy, material and natural resources through implementation of resource saving measures and improvement of production efficiency. 533 activities were carried out in the first half of this year according to the approved program with 230 of them aimed at saving electricity. The energy savings resulting from these activities implementation amounted to 20,829 tons of standard reference fuel.

The best results were achieved by the teams of the NGDU "Almetyevneft", NGDU "Elkhovneft", NGDU "Dzhalilneft" structural divisions.

The best results among service management companies were demonstrated by "Tatneft-RemServis", "TMS Group" and "Systema - Service" Management Company.

The greatest effect has resulted from the following activities: reducing the production of oilfield water through selective shutting off highly watered wells (18.7 percent), reducing the non-efficient water injection (9.8 percent) and introduction of low speed electric motors (7.1 percent).
The task of saving electric power consumption while preserving the level of 117.4 kWh per ton of oil virtually reached in 2007 has been assigned to all the oil and gas producing divisions of JSC TATNEFT for 2014 - 2016.
