OREANDA-NEWS. August 28, 2013. VTB Bank has won a government contract to provide financing to the Novgorod Region in northwestern Russia.

The bank will extend a RUB 2 billion loan to the regional government for a period of 1.5 years.

The money will be used to cover the regional budget deficit and to service the region’s current debt.
