OREANDA-NEWS. Leaders of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the general committee of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs have approved of all-Russian exhibition rating in 2011-2012, developed at the initiative of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.

According to the results of the rating 12 exhibitions of Expocentre received the title The Best Exhibition of Russia 2011-2012 (on their subjects in all categories). Each of four exhibitions was granted the title The Largest Exhibition in Russia 2011-2012 on their subject in one or more categories as well.

The Best Exhibitions of Russia 2011-2012 (in all categories) are the following

Metalloobrabotka'2012 (mechanical engineering, metalworking industry, machine tools and industrial equipment)

Khimia'2011 (chemistry, polymeric materials)

Elektro'2012 (electrical engineering)

Photonics. World of Lasers and Optics'2012 (optics industry, lasers)

Mir Detstva'2012 (goods for children)

Agroprodmash'2012 (food processing industry: equipment and ingredients)

Mebel'2012 (office and commercial furniture, interior decoration and interior dйcor items)

Lesdrevmash'2012 (timber industry and woodworking)

5pEXPO'2012 (exhibition industry)

Expopriority'2011 (IP, patent law).

The title The Largest Exhibition in Russia was awarded to

Consumexpo'2012. Winter (home furnishing, tableware and souvenirs; in categories of exhibition venue, professional interest and international recognition)

Prodexpo'2012 (foodstuffs and beverages; in categories of exhibition venue, professional interest and market coverage)

Reklama'2012 (advertising and design; in categories of exhibition venue, professional interest and market coverage)

Neftegaz'2012 (oil and gas industries; in categories of e venue, international recognition and market coverage).

All-Russian Exhibition Rating is based on statistic data tested and verified by independent audit (in accordance with existing international regulations), under the control of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs. RussCom IT Group of Companies, the only Russian independent auditor of exhibition statistics, which is authorized by the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF) and the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) became the tech operator of All-Russian Exhibition rating 2011 -2012.

The Rating is formed at the beginning of the calendar year. It includes all the exhibitions which were held in Russia by domestic and foreigner companies, tested by independent auditor the last year or the year before.

Based on independent comparative assessment this Rating gives an opportunity for organizers of exhibitions and congresses of accurately positioning in this market segment. The Rating also provides exhibitors and visitors, domestic and overseas entrepreneurs with an effective tool to select just the exhibitions they are interested in.
