In July 2013 the average interest rate on loans in lei made 12.05%, increasing as compared to the previous month by 0.02%.As it was informed in the National Bank of Moldova, in July 2013 the average interest rate on loans to legal entities decreased by 0.07% - from 11.72% to 11.65% and the average interest rate on loans to individuals increased by 0.01% - from 13.58% to 13.59%

It should be noted that the historical minimum of the average interest rate on loans in lei was registered in December 2012, when it amounted to 11.98% p.a. The highest was the rate on consumer loans for up to 1 month for individuals - 17.61% p.a. (17.49% in June).

The highest average interest rate, including both individuals and legal entities, was the interest rate on loans in lei for up to 1 month, which amounted to 13.72% p.a. in July ( 14.78% in June), including 13.6% for legal entities (14.7% in June) and 17.61% - for individuals (17.49% in June).

The lowest rate in July was registered for loans to individuals issued for over 5 years - 10.81% p.a. The lowest average rate for individuals and legal entities was the rate on loans for over 5 years, which amounted to 11.02% p.a. (9.92% in June), including 11.5% for legal entities (9.25% in June) and 10.81% for individuals (10.8% in June).
