PM Checks Construction Works at Teremky Underground Station in Kyiv
OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2013. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov has checked the course of construction activities at the Teremky underground station of Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiyska line in the capital.
“In one and half months residents of the huge district will have an opportunity to use this underground station,” Mykola Azarov explained. At the same time, he underlined the Government paid a considerable attention to realization of huge infrastructure projects, as a great number of people were attracted to implement them. In this context the Head of Government informed that, notably, 6-7 workers of adjacent branches fall on one underground builder.
“Realization of huge infrastructure projects affords to improve people’s lives. Just look how much has been done for the recent three years in order to free motor roads from traffic jams, from transit transport,” Mykola Azarov has said.
The Premier informed that after putting in exploitation the Teremky underground station the builders would focus on construction of a new underground line in the direction of Troyeshchyna residential district in the capital.
“We will find all necessary financial resources and construction works in Kyiv will be prolonged,” Mykola Azarov stressed.
The Head of Government has inspected the tunnel of Kyiv underground, examined a new train of the national producer and travelled from Ipodrom to Teremky station.
