Ingosstrakh Pays Some 2.5 Million Rubles to Agricultural Company
OREANDA-NEWS. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid some 2.5 million rubles to Tsentralno-Chernozyomnaya Agropromyshlennaya Kompaniya LLC (ООО TsCh APK), an agro-industrial company, in relation to the damage sustained by agricultural equipment.
A John Deere wheel tractor has been insured by Ingosstrakh Insurance Company against risks of fire, water damage, explosion during operation, natural disasters, accident, rollover, theft, robbery, hijacking, willful destruction or damage, and other risks.
On June 20, 2012, while moving over a dam, the tractor rolled over into the water and sustained some damage. An independent expertise was organized to establish the causes of accident and determine the extent of damage. The accident has been deemed an event insured, and Ingosstrakh paid the insurance compensation to the company in accordance with the terms of the contract.
Ingosstrakh Insurance Company and Tsentralno-Chernozyomnaya Agropromyshlennaya Kompaniya LLC cooperate since 2006. The current contract covers the insurance of agricultural equipment of the company for the amount of more than 61.1 million rubles. The insured equipment is pledged with one of the Russian federal banks as part of the obtained credit facility.
Tsentralno-Chernozyomnaya Agropromyshlennaya Kompaniya LLC was established and operates in the region since August 9, 2000. It is the member of Prodimex Group of Companies, the largest agricultural holding company in Russia. The primary activities involve crop production and livestock breeding. The enterprises of the company specialize in cultivation of sugar beet, cereals, industrial crops and are engaged in cattle breeding.
