OREANDA-NEWS. The Astana office of the Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company took part in the charity event called “Way to School!” aimed at provision of financial assistance to orphans, children from needy and large families in getting prepared for the next school year.

In the course of this charity event the employees of Executive Administration in Astana, NDC SO branch and the top management of the Company provided the assistance to 35 children from 14 needy and large families in the purchase of school supplies, clothes, and stationery, in total amounting to 1,189,000 tenge.

On 23 August, at the gifts giving ceremony a representative from the Agency for Children Protection in Astana city, Larissa Temirlina, expressed her gratitude to KEGOC's employees for their active participation in the republic-wide charity event “Way to School!” aimed at provision of support to the children from needy and large families.

In 2012, the employees from the KEGOC office in Astana also provided financial assistance to 40 children in the purchase of school appliances, clothes, and stationery, in total amounting to 762,862 tenge.
