OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2013. Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov has familiarized with the construction of the western half ring of the Small Ring Road and a bridge over the Ishim River. Mayor of Astana I.Tasmagambetov told about the progress of implementation of the project, which is realized on the President’s instruction.

The total length of the Small Ring Road (MCD) is 35 km, its capacity is 90 thousand cars a day.

Also, the head of the Government checked the execution of the pilot project on demolition of dilapidated housing in Astana for 2012-2020 and inspected the facilities of LLP "Yelorda Damu".

Following his visit, Akhmetov gave appropriate instructions to the heads of relevant ministries and Astana Akimat.
