Yanukovych: Salaries of Miners Will Further Increase
OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2013. “Salaries of miners will further increase,” the President noted.
“The reason for that is the increase of work efficiency,” the Head of State emphasized in the course of the meeting on the occasion of the Day of Miner in Donetsk.
According to Viktor Yanukovych, average salary in the given sphere has reached 5632 UAH which is 10% more than in the previous year and bigger than in any other industrial sphere. “All we do for the development of coal industry is aimed for people’s benefit,” the President said.
Viktor Yanukovych stressed that timely payment of salaries for miners was the main task of managers at all levels.
“The state will strictly control the fulfillment of all social guarantees for miners and their families provided for by the law. It also concerns decent pensions for miners-veterans,” the President said.
He added that efficient stimuli would be introduced for young qualified specialists choosing to become a miner.
