OREANDA-NEWS. UTair Aviation subtotal results for passenger operations with discounted airfare through the Volga Federal District Flight Subsidy Program reveal that the airline has performed 435 round-trip flights carrying in excess of 17 thousand passengers onboard АTR-72, Bombardier CRJ 200, L-410 and An-24 aircraft, almost 2.5 times more than for 2012 . Eligible passengers from the region qualify for discounted airfare through a Government Order granting subsidies to air transport operators complying with a mandate to guarantee the availability of domestic passenger carriage within the Volga Federal District.

From April 1, 2012 to April 1, 2013 in accordance with the Federal program for discounted airfare, UTair has maintained regular flights between Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Samara and Perm. In addition, a new route between Ufa and Perm has been launched within the Federal airfare subsidy program.

In accordance with the decision of the Government to extend the program until December 2013, UTair Aviation will continue performing flights on the respective destinations of the program.

UTair Aviation ranks among the top three Russian airlines. In 2012 UTair aircraft transported 8,582,681 passengers. The airline operates more than 200 fixed wing aircraft and performs flights to 110 destinations in Russia and aboard. The airline maintains its central hub at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, from which it performs 100 flights daily.
