OREANDA-NEWS. Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant (OJSC BVP, Blagoveshchensk, Republic of Bashkortostan, a CJSC OMK company, Moscow) has installed next-generation electric meters for revenue metering.

OJSC BVP switched over to an automated energy information and metering system as part of an investment project aimed at increasing the company's energy efficiency. The plant purchased additional equipment that was subsequently assembled, commissioned, and tested. BVP invested 2 million rubles in this system, which allows the company to keep record of energy consumption and reduce energy costs.

“The launch of the automated energy information and metering system will allow Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant to increase its energy efficiency, which is an integral part of economical production at a modern enterprise,” Director for Energy Supply and Repairs at OJSC BVP Yevgeny Chistyakov commented on the innovations.
