External Debt of Moldova Increased 4,4% in January- July
OREANDA-NEWS. August 22, 2013. In January-July, 2013, external state debt of Moldova increased MDL 926 million (4.4%), making about MDL 22 billion 110.7 million as of July, 31. As of this date, the external state debt was MDL 15 billion 722.7 million (USD 1 billion 235.2 million), up MDL 696.9 million (4.6%) or down USD 10.4 million (0.8%) since the beginning of the year, the Finance Ministry reports.
At the same time, the internal state debt of Moldova grew MDL 229.1 million (3.7%) to MDL 6 billion 388 million. In the reporting period, its service was allotted to MDL 179.5 million, 95.6% of an amount budgeted. Let’s remind that in 2012 the state debt of Moldova increased MDL 1 billion 958.2 million (10.2%) to MDL 21 billion 184.7 million as of December, 31, 2012.
In particular, the internal state debt grew MDL 317 million (5.4%) to MDL 6 billion 158.9 million, the external state debt being MDL 15 billion. 025.8 million (\\$1 billion 245.6 million) as of December, 31, 2012, growing MDL 1 billion. 641.2 million (12.3%) up since the beginning of the year.
